Project Overview
Riva is a contemporary fine jewelry collection inspired by the meeting point between the sea and the shoreline. The project explores how natural transitions can be translated into elegant wearable forms through carefully balanced proportions, refined materials, and a cohesive visual language.
Design Challenge
How can the peaceful movement between sea and shore be translated into a timeless jewelry collection while maintaining elegance, wearability, and commercial appeal?
Creative Direction
The collection was developed around three guiding principles:
● Fluid movement ●
● Organic simplicity ●
● Timeless sophistication ●
Rather than directly replicating waves or shells, the objective was to capture the feeling of the shoreline through subtle forms, refined curves, and restrained gemstone placement.
Concept
Meaning "shore" in Italian, Riva celebrates the place where the sea meets the sand.
It represents the moment where movement slows, textures merge, and nature creates effortless harmony.
Instead of interpreting the ocean literally, the collection focuses on the relationship between flowing water, soft sand, and sunlight reflected on the shoreline.
These natural transitions inspired a collection defined by calm movement, organic elegance, and timeless refinement.
Design Language
The collection follows a consistent visual language built around:
This language creates continuity across every piece while allowing each design to maintain its own identity.

Form Exploration
The collection began with multiple explorations focused on translating fluid movement into wearable structures.
Rather than designing individual pieces independently, each design evolved from a shared visual language to ensure cohesion across the entire collection.
Collection Development
Final Collection
Choker Necklace
The signature piece of the collection, translating the meeting of sea and shore into an elegant contemporary silhouette.
Role in the Collection
Hero Piece Establishes the visual language and serves as the foundation from which the remaining pieces are developed.
Although each piece serves a different function, every design shares the same construction principles, proportions, gemstone treatment, and design vocabulary.
This consistency allows the collection to feel unified while giving every piece its own personality.
Technical Development
